David Edward Hoekel

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peters Chapter of Bereaved Parents U.S.A., The Dean Hoekel Memorial Scholarship Fund, Holt High School, or the David Hoekel Memorial Scholarship Fund, Ft. Zumwalt North and West High Schools. Beloved husband of Marcia Hoekel; loving father of Darren Eric Hoekel (Cara) and the late Dean Eagan Hoekel; dear brother of the late Thomas Frank Hoekel; proud grandfather of Taylor and Davin Hoekel and Jena Curry; preceded in death by parents, Frank and Eleanor Hoekel. Mr. Hoekel was an Administrator for The Fort Zumwalt School District for 17 years and was a member of the National and Missouri Associations of Secondary School Principals. Mr. Hoekel was on the Wentzville Board of Aldermen for 16 years, serving as President in 2002 and 2003. He also served on Wentzville’s Park Board and Economic Development Council and as a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
