David Howard Finke

David Howard Finke, born to the late Howard Gilbert and Ida Louise Finke on August 15,1952, at Ann Arbor Michigan. David went to school in St Charles, Mo. He was awarded the Eagle award. David attended college at the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Mo. David went to work at McDonnell-Douglas, now Boeing, as an electrical engineer.

In 1987 David married Lavada Rose Lanigan, to this union a son Christopher Alan Lanigan. David loved to fish and hunt quail and ducks, and enjoyed water skiing. David loved to work on his electronics and help others. He was a loving husband for 35 years to Lavada Finke; loving father of Christopher; dear grandfather ,uncle, cousin, and friend.

David spent time volunteering with the Red Cross at St Joseph Hospital and DePaul Hospital.

David is survived by his wife, Lavada Rose Finke; son, Christopher Alan Lanigan; granddaughters, Katherine and Elizabeth Lanigan; Sisters, Marilyn Finke of Warrenton, MO, Karen Finke of Overland Park KS, and Janet ( Michael) Taylor of St Joseph, MO, nieces Kailie (Michael) Smith of St Joseph, MO, and Logan Taylor of St Joseph, MO; nephew, Kyle Taylor of Kansas City, MO, and three great-nephews.
