David J. Parrish

Parrish, David J., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the age of 73. Loving husband of Connie Parrish (nee: Knight); beloved son of the late Leo and Agnes Parrish; devoted father of James T. (Linda) Cooper, Randall (Tracy) Cooper, Carla Jean Cooper, Jon Paul Cooper, Connie (Dan Head) Noonan, Steven (Margaret) Greenwalt, Jr., Sandra Gesiriech, David (Donna) Greenwalt, Michael Parrish, and Susan (Gerald) Westenberger; cherished grandfather of 15 and treasured great-grandfather of 13; dear brother of Margaret (Thomas) Voss. He was also a beloved nephew, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. David is preceded in death by his daughter Fonda Cooper, grandchildren Christopher and Elizabeth Howk, and brother Jerry Parrish.
He was employed at Superior Box Company as a Plant Manager for 48 years. David loved working crossword puzzles, hunting, fishing and shooting guns with his friends. David had a great personality and loved telling jokes. He was known for his silly jokes and his 'Gilligan' hat.
