David L. Roth

David Louis Roth of Bridgeton, MO, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at the age of 66. David was the cherished son of the late Marvin and Orene Roth; dear brother of Brenda and Tammy; loving nephew of Norma and J.D. Gillham; devoted uncle of several nieces and nephews; precious extended family member; and treasured friend of many.

David was an Army Veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, and where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He also worked for many years as a store clerk for the Salvation Army. David was a faithful Christian who took every opportunity to be at the Lord’s house, and the Bible was his favorite book. He was faithful to lead a Bible Study group in the nursing home where he lived. David was also an avid baseball fan, and especially loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He was deeply loved, and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
