David Myrick

David Winson Myrick, of Saint Ann, MO, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 62 years to Jean Ann Myrick; cherished son of the late Norval and Mae Myrick; devoted father of David M. Myrick, the late Mark A. Myrick, Steven M. (Tina L.) Myrick, the late Dawn M. Myrick and Lee W. (Misty) Myrick; loving grandfather of Megan L. (Jason) Chambers, Justin M. (Danielle N.) Myrick, LeeAnna J. Myrick and bonus granddaughter, Brianna R. (Drew) Coleman; treasured great-grandfather of Juliet R. Chambers, Graysen M. Myrick, Torin M. Chambers, and bonus great-grandchildren Jonas B. Coleman and Ember D. Coleman; dear brother of Jerry (Millie) Myrick; Helen Myrick and Jimmy Myrick; David is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. David is preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. The Myrick family would like to give a special thanks to Rhonda (Abbas) Cook and Donna Coleman.

David proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force for 10 years. He and Jean shared 62 beautiful years of marriage together; building a wonderful family. He was a proud father; active in his children’s lives, and as his family grew and grandchildren were added, they quickly became his pride and joy. David often volunteered at his grandchildren’s schools and helped the P.T.O with parties and school functions. He was a true gentleman and had a very caring nature. David enjoyed staying active, going on long walks, and also enjoyed time reflecting with a crossword puzzle. David was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

In lieu of flowers, David’s family requests a donation be made to the Air Force Aide Society at P.O. Box 2208, Arlington, VA 22202 or the Patriot Guard.
