David Oliver Porter, of Wright City, MO, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the age of 70. Loving husband of Jessie Porter; beloved son of the late Oliver and Theodora Porter; devoted father of Matt Porter and Theodore (Deborah) Porter; stepfather of Gene (Rickie) Lynn; dear brother of Diane (Hap) Happe; cherished grandfather of Olivia Porter and Madison Lynn.
David worked as an IT manager and retired form Southwestern Bell after many years of service. He loved spending time with his family, fishing with his father and his children, and traveling with his wife. David also enjoyed antiques, geology, collecting coins, and investing/following the stock markets. David was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in David's name to American Heart Association.
