David Randall Gibbs

August 31, 1942 — March 10, 2019

David Randall Gibbs of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Marilyn Gibbs (nee: Sutton); cherished son of the late Roy and Irene Gibbs; devoted father of Jeffrey D. (Michelle) Gibbs, Brian R. (Christy) Gibbs, and Deborah E. Braile; loving grandfather of Sean, Megan, Nathan, Makayla, Noah, and Peyton; dear brother of Roy (Shirley) Gibbs, Darryl (Sharon) Gibbs, Marty (Elmer) Crow, Thomas Gibbs, and brother-in-law Jesse M. (Jane) Sutton; beloved uncle, cousin, and friend.

David is also preceded in death by brothers Cecil Gibbs and Robert Gibbs.

David proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors, hiking, biking and walking. David most especially loved working in his yard. His greatest enjoyment was his grandchildren, and he never missed any event even if it meant traveling to be there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials may be made in David's memory to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
