Dear brother of Dana (Teresa) Williams of Aviston, IL; brother-in-law of Cynthia Williams of Victoria B.C.; preceded in death by his parents Rhys Owen and Marion Bernice Williams, and brother, Douglas Everett Williams. Dr. Williams received his Bachelor of Arts in 1968 from California State University, Dominguez Hills; Master of Arts in 1971 from California State University in Northridge and in 1980 he received his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southern California. He began his academic career in 1971 at Moorpark Junior College where he was an instructor in Political Science and later at Santa Monica College and California State University, Northridge. He was also an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Loyola Marymount University; Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Californa State University; and Associate Professor of Political Science, Tarkio College. Dr. Williams was Vice-President of Institutional Advancement and Operations, Associate Professor of Political Science and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Missouri Valley College; Dean of Academic Services at Lindenwood University in St. Charles Missouri; Dean of the College and Professor in the Management Division.
