David William Ricketts

Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice. Ricketts, Dave, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the age of 73. Dearest husband of Barbara Ricketts; dear son of the late Richard J. and Margaret E. Ricketts; devoted father of M. Candace (Giles) Ricketts-Smith and the late David W. Ricketts III; cherished grandfather of Vaughn Powell; dear cousin of Clarence Zack Carter; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Dave is preceded in death by his brother, Dick and sister, Alice. He was a Coach with the St. Louis Cardinals for 40+ years, volunteered his time with young catchers around the area and served in the US Army 1957 - 1959.
