Dawn Marie Benedict (nee Sweeney), of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at the age of 59. Beloved wife of Robert Lee Benedict; cherished daughter of David Sweeney and the late Dianna F. Vitale. Devoted mother of Crystal (Ryan) Kelley and Bridgette (Bradley) Whitehead; loving grandmother of Adon Whitehead, Landyn Lang, Emerson Kelley, Braysen Whitehead, and Adalynn Kelley; dear brother of David (Barb) Sweeney, Brandon (Erica) Sweeney; dear stepdaughter of Larry Vitale; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Dawn loved her family immensely; her grandchildren and children meant the world to her. She and her husband shared 27 years of marriage together and many memories. She enjoyed getting lost in a good television soap opera with a Dr. Pepper in hand. You might also find her cruising the aisles of Dollar General to check on any new arrivals. Dawn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
