De Etta Burney

Burney, De Etta "De" (nee: Nunn), of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the age of 67. Loving wife of David R. Burney; beloved daughter of the late Truel and Verba Nunn; devoted mother of D. Russell (Denise) Burney and Laura (Dennis) Lanham; cherished grandmother of Jay Burney, Alex Burney, Sarah Burney, Rose Burney, Leighlan Fouts, and Michael Fouts; treasured great-grandmother of 3; dear sister of Kenny (Judy) Nunn, Irene Bryd, Jim Nunn, Larry (Rosalie) Nunn, Joyce (Butch) Waller, Martha McLaughlin Taylor, and Sam Nunn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Bill Byrd and Ron McLaughlin, and sister-in-law Arlene Nunn.
De enjoyed sewing and working at her family business. She also taught all the kids and grandkids how to swim.
