Dickerson, Jr., Deacon Raymond A., of St. Charles, MO, died on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the age of 82. Loving husband of 62 years to Myrna Dickerson; beloved son of the late Raymond A., Sr. and Mildred Dickerson; devoted father of Holly (Mitch) Freeman and Beth (Truman) Brinkley; cherished grandfather of Allison (Patrick) Bilger, Nicholas Young, Sean Brinkley, and Alexander Brinkley; treasured great-grandfather of Kai Bilger; dear brother of Janet Terschluse; dear uncle of Dr. David (Susan) Terschluse, Marilyn (Dr. Sid) Hanish, Mark Terschluse, and Valerie Terschluse.
Deacon Mr. Dickerson was ordained to the Sacrament of Holy Orders in 1987 by the late Archbishop John L. May. Deacon Mr. Dickerson served the parishes of St. Charles Borromeo in St. Charles, MO and St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles, MO. He studied for Ordination at Kenrick Seminary and Paul the Sixth Institute. He served in the U. S. Military and received an Honorable Discharge. Reverend Mr. and Mrs. Dickerson celebrated their 62nd anniversary of marriage on April 23, 2017.
Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
