Dean W. Lewis

Dean W. Lewis, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the age of 71. Loving husband of Alice Mary Lewis; beloved son of the late Ralph A. and Maryann Lewis; devoted father of Branden (Brooke) Lewis and Chad (Kate) Lewis; dear brother of the late Nancy Rodenbush, Allyn (Sandy) Lewis, Lynn Jasper, Sharan Loverin; cherished grandfather of, Roby Lewis, Riley Lewis, Kinley Mae Lewis, and Nora Dean Lewis; loving brother-in-law and uncle. 

Dean was a man of strength, wisdom, and kindness. With 16 years of sobriety, he understood the importance of strong foundations and having people to count on. As a mentor, he guided and supported many, leaving a lasting impact on those who sought his advice. 

Growing up by the ocean, Dean developed a deep love for the beach and the water. He was an avid surfer, still cherishing the same surfboard that carried him through countless waves. A talented artist, he had a gift for seeing beauty in the world and bringing it to life, whether through painting, woodworking, or capturing the brilliance of a sunrise or sunset. 

Dean shared nearly five decades of marriage with his beloved wife, Alice. Having met at just 15 years old, they spent 57 wonderful years together, building a life filled with love and family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he took great pride in his family and was always there with a helping hand, whether fixing, creating, or simply offering his unwavering support. His love extended to his loyal four-legged companion, Jersey, who was always by his side. 

Dean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
