Dean R. Sorrell

Sorrell, Dean R., of St. Charles, MO died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Betty Lou Sorrell; beloved son of the late Hiram and Clara Sorrell; devoted father of David (Karen) Sorrell and Diane (Herb) Melson; cherished grandfather of 5; treasured great-grandfather 7; and dear brother of Helen Kanen. Dean was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.




Dean proudly served his country in the United States Navy and in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He was a Triple Diamond member with American Airlines and a Silver Swallows member with Ozark Airlines. He was also a member of Pattonville Hockey Club from 1972-1979.
