Deanna Mettes

Mettes, Mary “Deanna” (nee: Williams) of St. Louis, MO, died on Monday, October 10, 2016, at the age of 74. Beloved daughter of the late Kenneth Williams and Mary “Maxine” Rowe; devoted mother of Laurie (Dan) Oestereich, Jim (Theresa) Mettes, Connie (Bob) Wideman, Cheri (Dan) Sells, Steve (Elizabeth) Mettes, and John (Laura) Mettes; cherished grandmother of Jeanna, Melissa, Amy, Megan, and Nick; treasured great-grandmother of Parker, Mason, Sydney, Sophia, Cole, and Ellie; dear sister of Ed (Donna) Williams. She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Williams.

Deanna was a member of Creve Coeur Homemakers for many years, she enjoyed sewing and gardening. But mostly she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
