Caulfield, Debbie A., of Bridgeton, MO, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 27, 2015, at the age of 63. Beloved daughter of Harry W. and Ann L. Oberndorfer; devoted mother of Chris (Michelle Ruwe) Caulfield, Kim Caulfield and Andrew Morales; cherished grandmother of Justin Ruwe, Allison Bates, Rachel Lutz and Edwin Harry (Bubba) Lutz; dear sister of Pam (Jim) Ball; treasured aunt of Melissa (Travis) Descoteau; and loving niece, cousin and friend to many.
The things Debbie enjoyed most in life were spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family always came first. She was fiercely independent and at the same time protective and doting to family and friends. Her passions were working in her yard, her flowers and her many home improvement projects. There’s nothing she wouldn’t tackle or learn how to do. She enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and getting together with her high school alumni. Among her many talents she was masterful at creating a warm welcoming environment in her home using “found treasures”. She was considered invaluable by her co-workers who relied on her expertise and knowledge greatly.
She will be missed tremendously and remembered fondly. Her sudden and unexpected death at such a young age will leave an unfillable hole in the lives of all who knew her, especially her children and grandchildren who felt her love and devotion like no one else.
The family would prefer flowers for donations.
