Deborah “Debbie” Killian, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Paul David Killian; precious daughter of Bessie J. and Roy G. Nelson; devoted mother of David G. (Valeria) Killian, Angela D. (Joseph) Smith and Joshua P. (Jennifer) Killian; loving grandmother of Taylor, Liberty, Dominic, Destiny, Noah, Andrew, Emily, Rachel, Autumn and Lacy; dear sister of Betty Nelson and half-sister of Donnie, Kelley, Dustin and Darby; beloved niece, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many. She is preceded in death by two of her grandchildren, Matthew Killian and Lauren Smith. Debbie was a member of Oakridge Baptist Church in St. Peters, MO for many years. She worked at Fort Zumwalt School District for nearly twenty years. She was the most selfless and kind person everyone knew and loved. Debbie was devoted to her family and loved to spend time with them. Debbie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Debbie”s name to Siteman Cancer Center. Debbie never gave up, nor did the doctors and nurses of Siteman Cancer Center, through excellent care and medical trials of medicine. Without new treatments being developed, Debbie would have never made it as long as she did. Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
