Jones, Debra L., (nee: Sams), of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Debbie died at home with her family by her side after a long struggle with multiple myeloma. She is survived by her beloved husband Bob and son Sam (Maren). She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew, and many dear friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Herschel and Patricia Sams.
Debbie was an avid reader and lover of all things autumn. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; fall color drives, old movies, traveling, her dog Strider and outings with her friends. Debbie is remembered as a kind and loving person who was always willing to help others.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Siteman Center for their attentive and loving care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorials to Siteman Cancer Center or to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
