Debra “Deb” Sue Lawson (nee Brown), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Frank Lawson; devoted daughter of the late William Dale and Mildred Brown; loving mother of Dustin (Amanda) Olson, Ericka (Scott) Dixon, Jarrod (Kimberly) Oberhaus, Sherry Lawson, Erik Oberhaus and Erin Oberhaus; precious grandmother of Megan, Sarah, Sam, Emma, Jacob, Caroline, Ava, Zackary, and Emily; treasured great-grandmother of Anastasia; and dear sister of Sherry (Tim) Hughs. She is also survived by Daniel Niemeyer, who was like a son to her, and was an aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Deb retired after 32 years as a dental hygienist. She was a woman of great faith and was deeply involved in Element Church. She loved to greet people and always hoped to make people feel welcome. Deb participated in multiple church small groups. She was the go-to lady if you ever needed any help and had quite the sense of humor. Deb was an animal lover and enjoyed having pets around the house. She was a member of the St. Charles Imperial Dance club and the Pontooner’s Club. Deb made many memories traveling the world, visiting over 18 countries in Asia, Europe, and America and cruising the Caribbean and the Pacific.
Deb loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. She always planned activities for the family to do, creating scavenger hunts and games to play together. Deb loved being a grandma to her grandchildren and cherished every moment with her family that she could get.
Deb was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Deb’s name to Kingdom Builders at Element Church.
