Dell May Sumner

October 18, 1921 — February 16, 2008

Sumner, Dell May, the beloved wife of the late William T. Sumner, Sr., of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 16. Dear mother of Aneishia (Kleinheider) Knapp and Carol (Kleinheider) Kindred. Dear mother-in-law of the late Joseph Knapp and Larry Kindred, dear grandmother of Desiree (Bob Wilmoth) and Joseph T. (Mona) Knapp, Laurie Christ, Larry, David and Tracy Kindred. Great-grandmother of Michelle (Jeff) Hayden, Teresa and Caitlyn Kindred; great, great-grandmother of one. Dell May was a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union for 27 years; retiring March 1, 1973. She loved to dance and had been a member of the Starlight Dance Club. She and her late husband were avid rock and gem collectors. Dell was also an avid animal lover. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association of St. Louis or Stray Rescue of St. Louis in her memory would be appreciated. Services: The Family is being served by The Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2008 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
