Della was a true gardener at heart, whether it be tending to her gardens of flowers or nurturing her plants, she loved roses, azalias, hydrangeas, hostas, rose of sharon, and lilacs. She enjoyed traveling with her family on vacations and venturing out to camp at Round Springs or Circle B Campground. Once her husband retired, they would voyage cruises. In order to keep up with all the excitement and fun in her life she treasured her afternoon naps.
Della loved family gatherings, from birthdays to holidays. A favorite destination at Christmas was Branson, and at home, she loved to plan and prepare the biggest Christmas brunch anyone could find, and it was all for her family. During the holiday season, she and the grandchildren would spend hours making Christmas cookies to enjoy. Della was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
