Delores Marie Ahrens

Delores Marie Ahrens (nee Neithardt), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Alvin Ahrens; cherished daughter of the late Richard Fred Neithardt and Mabel Helen Berkbuegler. Devoted mother of Gary (Debbie) Ahrens, Brian (Susie) Ahrens, and Kenn (Angie) Ahrens; loving grandmother of Kyle (Lindsay), Kimberli (Travis), Daniel (Alicia), Jessica (Paul), Joel (Alayna), and Joshua; treasured great-grandmother of Violetta and Wyatt; dear sister of the late Richard "Sonny" Neithardt.

Delores was a long-time member of Salem Lutheran Church in Black Jack, Missouri and Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. She loved fishing in her younger years, at Lake of the Ozarks. Delores also loved sewing, word search puzzles, and listening to live music at outdoor parks.

Family gatherings were so important to Delores. Alvin and Delores celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in September of 2021. She set a very good example for their family. Delores was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
