Delphia Marie Haid Zirzow

Delphia Haid Zirzow, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the age of 103. Loving wife of 24 years to Edward C. Haid; beloved daughter of Clara and Alvin Wiese; devoted mother of Heidi A. Israel, Bonnie (the late Richard) Long and Eric (Linda) Haid; cherished grandmother of Aaron (Annette) Israel, Jessica (Shannon) Pease, Rachel (John) DePriest, Tori (Jessica) Decker, Jason (Tiffany Pyle) Haid and Erica Haid; treasured great-grandmother of Ainsley, Sebastian, Skylar, Gideon, Harper, Georgeana, Braxton, Brooklynn, Mackenzie, Taylor; and great-great grandmother of Lucas. Delphia was also preceded in death by her recent husband, William A. Zirzow. Delphia was a classic homemaker and loved her family and taking care of them. She was actively involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She volunteered at school activities and as a Girl Scout Leader. As a woman of faith, she loved her church and enjoyed volunteering with various groups as well. Delphia had many hobbies throughout her life. She liked to read books and watch TV shows about murder mysteries. She enjoyed knitting and quilting, and she often made items for her family. She was great at sewing and was an amazing cook. Delphia also liked gardening and planting flowers. She loved to travel with her husband and friends. She really enjoyed Europe and Hawaii, as well as river cruises. Delphia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Delphia's name to St. Joseph Indian School - Lakota Kids.
