Denise M. Laramie

Denise Marie Laramie was born on September 30, 1957 and died on September 20, 2018.  Loving daughter of Roberta A. Gittemeier and the late John D. Gittemeier, Sr.  Devoted wife of William W. Laramie, Jr.  Beloved sister of Linda Bighem (John), John Gittemeier, Jr. (Lynne), Kathy Morton (Greg), Rose Bretana, and Karen Lesinski (Gregg).  Amazing mother to William Laramie III (Tara), Cristen Cavanaugh (Lance), Nichole Morgan (Michael) and Melissa Spencer (Russell).  Loving Mama to Collin and Gabrielle Schlapper; Gracelyn and William Laramie; Brennan and Magdelyn Cavanaugh; Kevin, Natalee, Reaghan, and Jordyn Morgan; and Cameron, Trevor, Nolan, and Dylan Spencer.

Denise was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.  Denise always put others before herself.  She had a caring soul and a smile that could light up the room.  She loved reading, cooking and spending the weekend at the farm. She loved hanging out with her family, especially her grandchildren, as often as possible.  She was at her happiest during the holidays when she could spoil all of the people in her life with presents and homemade gifts.  Denise was aided by her husband Bill in her fight against Multiple Myeloma.  They never left each other’s side and fought her battle together until the very end.  Denise will be remembered as one of the nicest and kindest people to ever grace this world.
