Diane M. Spiller
October 24, 1944 — February 5, 2019
Diane Marie Spiller (nee Webber) born East St. Louis, Illinois, 1944. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy M. Webber.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband of over 54 years, Don Spiller; her children, Doug (JoAnne) Spiller and Deb Spiller-Hale; her mother, Agnes M. Webber; her siblings, Sharon (Bill) Shaw, James (Judy) Webber, and Michael (Shelly) Webber; her grandchildren, Jenna, Kendall, Olivia, and Miles; and she was an aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Diane retired from Pattonville School District after twenty-two years as a secretary to many principals. She and Don travelled to all 50 states and four continents. She especially enjoyed Ireland – her ancestral home. She square danced with the Hilltopper Club for twenty years. For sixteen years they wintered in Apache Junction, Arizona, where they made many new friends from the western states and provinces of Canada. A great joy for her was taking each grandchild on a trip to where they wanted to go: Washington D.C., Chicago Museums, the Mall of America, and football and baseball stadiums. Diane loved to travel with her family and made special memories. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a friend to anyone that met her. Diane will be greatly missed.
