Dolores A. Mayer
August 19, 1924 — September 25, 2020
Dolores A. Mayer of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away at the age of 96 on Friday, September 25, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Mayer; and her parents, Angelo and Ann Ponciroli.
Dolores is survived by her children, David (Carol) Mayer, Dennis (Debi) Mayer, and Douglas (Patricia) Mayer; her grandchildren, Melissa (Keith Linck) Knobbe, Cheri (Scott) Young, Lora (Brad Barton) Johnson, Jesse Crites, Daniel Mayer, Dominic (Jody Lang) Mayer, and Dustin (Laura) Mayer; and her seventeen great-grandchildren.
Family was everything to Dolores and the greatest moments in her life were always the times that she shared together with her family. She treasured the memories they made over the years and loved every member of her family dearly. Dolores had a creative spirit for taking on crafts projects and producing many lovely things. The community and friendship she found as part of the JC Wives Club were immense sources of joy for her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions in Dolores’s name may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for Masses.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.
