Don Benne

Memorials may be made to masses to St. Cletus Church, American Cancer Society, or Parkinson's Foundation. Don Benne, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the age of 78. Loving husband of Kathleen Benne (nee: Schumpe); dear son of the late Albert and Edna Benne; Devoted father of Sarah (Jeff) Kirtley and Don J. (Jean) Benne; cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Leslie, Brad, Blake, and Katelyn and great-grandfather of Annie and Cadence; dear brother of Albert (Mildred) Benne, Harvey Benne, and Paul (Lucille) Benne. He is preceded in death by his sister Margaret Hurt. Don was the owner and operator of Benne Construction for over 40 years and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
