Don L. Hickman

Hickman, Don L., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Sue Hickman (nèe: Edge); beloved son of the late Delon and Mary Hickman; devoted father of Donna (James) Feuerstein and Jonathan M. (Carla) Hickman; and adoring grandfather of Daniel Hickman, Rachel Hickman, Andrew Comfort, and Allison Comfort. Don was a probation and parole officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections for 28 years. Additionally, he worked as an educator for nearly 20 years, 10 of which were spent at St. Charles Community College. Don was also a Deacon at First Baptist Church of St. Charles and a Board Member of the St. Charles Historical Society. In his spare time, he enjoyed model railroading. The Hickman family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Missouri Veterans Home for the wonderful and attentive care Don received.
