Donald “Don” Miller, 39, of St. Charles, MO, formerly of Anchor, passed away on March 5, 2016 at his residence. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, St. Charles, MO with a visitation from 2-4:00 pm, on Thursday at the funeral home.

A second memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax with a visitation from 1-4:00 pm, on Saturday also at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place on Monday at Argenta Cemetery, Argenta.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for his son Brody Miller established at Anchor State Bank.

Don was born June 27, 1976 in Urbana, the son of Donald and Karen Mullins Miller. His father preceded him in death. Surviving are his son, Brody Miller of St. Charles, MO; mother and step-father, Karen (Ralph) Grider of Anchor; maternal grandmother, Nellie Mullins of Mahomet; sister, Rhonda Benter; nephews, Jack and Kyle Benter all of LeRoy; girlfriend, Lora Sparkman and her children, Ryan, Bailey, and Patrick Sparkman all of St. Charles, MO; step-brothers, Kerwin (Vicki) Grider of Weldon and Kent Grider of Champaign; step-sisters Karla (John) Kendall of Chatham and Karen (Terry) Friend of Bloomington; half-brother, Jacob Miller of Matoon.

Don was a veteran of the United States Army. He also was a high school football coach for St. Charles West High School.

The pride and joy of Don’s life was his son Brody. His loss will be felt by all who know and loved him. Condolences and tributes may be made to the family at www.duffypilsmemorialhome.com.
