RANKINS, Donald ''Don'' W., St. Charles, MO, Baptized into the Hope of Christ's Resurrection on March 4, 2007, age 75; dear husband of Catherine A. Rankins; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many; preceded in death by his parents, John and Jewell Rankins. Mr. Rankins was a police officer for 13 years (City of St. Louis) and Director of Security with Laclede Gas, St. Louis, MO for 28 years. He was a member of Missouri Police Chiefs Association, Missouri Peace Officers Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, St. Louis Co Law Enforcement Association, American Society for Industrial Security, American Legion Post 187, Knights of Columbus Council 823, St. Louis Police Veterans Association and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He also served in the US Air Force 1952 – 1956.
