Donald E. Derksen

Donald E. "Don" Derksen, 77 of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Friday, November 28, 2008. He was born February 20, 1931 in Clark County, MO to William A. and Ruby Kerr Derksen. Don was a graduate of Granger High School, class of 1949, and a member of the Baptist Church. He married Betty Gilfillan Dec. 24, 1950 in Memphis, MO. Don retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1993 after 41 ½ years. He is survived by his wife Betty and two sons, Kevin and his wife Janet Derksen of Weldon Springs, MO and Kelly and his wife Angie Derksen of O'Fallon, MO, one daughter Lisa Walsh of St. Peters, MO; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother William his wife Rose of West Point Iowa. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Margaret Smith, Maxine McCoy and Betty Crosby. Memorials may be made to Missouri Veterans Home.
