Donald Edward Phillips

Donald Edward Phillips, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away at the age of 69 on Sunday, April 19, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lavelle Phillips.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Jannette Phillips; his daughters, Jane Phillips, Sarah Phillips, and Rachel (Matt) Deason; his grandchildren, Meda Phillips, Hadley Phillips, and Warren Deason; and his siblings, Gib Phillips, Nancy Phillips, and T. Phillips.
A proud veteran of the US Army, Don served honorably and belonged to American Legion Post 323 in Wentzville. Don was a talented handyman and could fix anything he set his mind to – people knew him as the number one person to rely on when they needed something fixed or a project done right. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was spending the day hunting or fishing or by being out in his garden tending to his vegetables. What Don loved most, though, was being a family man and being a constant source of support for them. He’ll always be remembered as the number one dad, Papa and hero to many. Don will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made in Don’s name to the American Legion Post 323.
