Donald Eugene Wilson, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the age of 53. Don is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Marie Wilson (nee: Foeller); his daughter, Adrienne (Danielle) Wilson; stepson, J'uan (Joelle Cady) Jennings; grandchildren, Adelie Wilson, Jenesis Perez, and Emily Perez; siblings, Jerry (Cheryl) Keller, Norma Jones, Jackie Wilson, Rich (Peggy) Wilson, and Faye King; and siblings-in-law, Leroy (Mary Jane) Foeller, Margaret (Fred) Malven, Diane (Michael) Shields, Donna (Samuel) Smith, Sharon (Bill) Arman, Sandra (Dennis) Klobe, Virginia Brower, William (Julie) Foeller, and Theresa (David) Hedges. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Virginia Loretta Foeller; dear friends, Bill (Jeannette) Thomas and Keith (Joneva) Beckmann; his niece, that was like a daughter to him, Amanda (Ryan) Renner, and her children Hudson and Cameron; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Don was preceded in death by his son, Cory Wilson; his parents, Harlen Eugene and Virginia Lynn Wilson; two brothers, Hubert "Junior" Keller and William Keller; two sisters, Betty Ann Keller and Susan Keller; and father-in-law, Norbert Henry Foeller.
Don was a hard-working man, who would do whatever it took to provide a good life for his family. He was employed with ABB for more than 30 years as a Fleet Coordinator and Warehouse Supervisor, but also owned many rental properties and performed various side jobs. He was an active member of Assumption Catholic Church of O’Fallon, St. Cletus Men’s Club, and Knights of Columbus Council 2266. He was also an active volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County. In his spare time, Don enjoyed golfing, fishing, and vacationing, especially going on cruises with his wife. Don will be remembered as a very generous man who had a heart of gold. He was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
