Beloved husband of Millie Jewell for 52 years. Dear father to Debbie (Scott) LaCroix of Dallas, TX and Denise (Jeff) Link of Chicago, IL. Loving grandfather to Jenna, Mikey, Jeremy, James and Ryan. Brother to Mary Smitson of Norman, OK and Marjorie Monroe of San Diego, CA., John Jewell, Jerry Jewell and Ed Jewell of Norman, OK. Preceded in death by his parents John Earl and Janie B. Jewell, his sister, Alice White and his brother, Robert Jewell. Don was a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia in Mechanical Engineering and began his career as a design engineer at Westinghouse retiring from McDonnell Douglas. He was a dedicated Mizzou basketball and football fan. (Go Tigers!) Don was a member of the Whitmoor Country Club where he spent many happy hours with the ORFS golf league and the SKINS game. Services: Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, October 28, 2006 12:00-2:00PM. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00PM Saturday, The Baue Funeral & Memorial Center, St. Charles, MO.
