Donald Lee Lhamon of Moscow Mills, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the age of 76. Loving husband of the late Eulia Mae "Sue" Lhamon (nee: Oshia) and dear son of the late Archie and Inez Lhamon; devoted father of Glen (Carol) Sills, Denis Lhamon, Ronald (Sherry) Lhamon, John Lhamon, and Barbara (Larry) Parson; cherished grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 11, and great-great grandfather of 3; dear brother of Maxine Lalock, Carol (Gary) Speath, Bill Lhamon and Gary (Cheryl) Lhamon. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, parents and siblings Sandra, Tom, and Bob Lhamon. Mr. Lhamon was a Supervisor over the Research and Development Department at Monsanto for 30 years. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was also very involved with the Elks for 30 years and was a past Exalted Ruler. Mr. Lhamon was a very handy man and loved working with electronics and gadgets, fishing and always loved feeding the birds. He was a man of many passions, but his greatest passion was his family, who he deeply loved. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
