Donald Lesley, of Old Monroe, MO, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Joan N. Lesley; devoted father of Michele Lesley, Nicole Lesley, Amber (James) Garrett and Meagan Lesley; loving grandfather of Conner, Tyler, Taelynn, Tessa and Jenna; dear brother of Shirley (Robert) Bobbitt and Terry (Rita) Lesley and brother-in-law of Carl (Linda) Boekemier, Patricia (the late Richard) Kern, Una (Ronald) McKeage and Erick (Cheryl) Boekemier; beloved nephew, uncle, cousin and friend.
Donald is also preceded in death by his parents, James D. and Betty J. Lesley, his mother and father-in-law, William and Cora Boekemier and his brother-in-law, Mark Boekemier.
Donald was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be in nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to ride motorcycles. Donald was devoted to his family and they meant the world to him. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. Donald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Donald's name to American Cancer Society.
