Donald Martin Estes of Saint Charles, MO, formerly of Derby, Kansas, passed away at the age of 64 on Sunday, May 9th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Estes; and his infant daughter, Dawn Ann Estes.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Carol Ann Estes; his cherished daughter, Mary Elizabeth Estes; his brothers, William Eugene (Pam) Estes Jr., Charles Milton Estes, and Ronald Marvin (Ellen) Estes; his parents-in-law, Richard and Mary Jones; his siblings-in-law, Pauline and the Jones brothers; and he was an uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Don enjoyed a successful 43 year career at Boeing where he worked as a Senior Program Management Advisor. He was especially proud of his work on the Boeing CQM-121 Pave Tiger. Don was a 32
nd degree Mason and a very talented and intelligent man who had the ability to put anything back together or solve any problem. For fun, Don enjoyed creating pottery or writing poems and he was fond of working out in his yard. He was a kind and supportive man who loved making others smile and helping out however he could. Above everything, Don held his family to the utmost importance. He cherished his daughter and was a dedicated father who would do anything for his family. Don will be remembered as a jokester who could make anyone smile. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made in Donald's name to the
Shriners or the
