Donald R. Wagner Sr. of St. Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Mary J. Wagner; cherished son of the late Theresa and Charles Jones; devoted father of Norma (Don) Feddersen, Sue (Dean) Gaston, Karen (Tom) Hurley, and Patty Boyd, Don R. (Paula) Wagner; loving grandfather of twelve; treasured great-grandfather of seventeen; dear brother of Pat Close, Fred (the late Jean) Jones, Everette (Barb) Jones, Gladys Close, Carol Rasmussen, and the late Charlotte (Rab) Sampica.
Donald meritoriously served and dedicated his career to the United States Army, serving his country for 33 years. Donald retired in 1991 with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. Donald most loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed woodworking, genealogy, playing games, hunting and fishing. Donald was an avid reader and loved to read his Bible most. Donald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is now in the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ.
