Donald Roberts

Donald Roberts, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Eunice Roberts; devoted father of Susan Larson; cherished brother of Nancy Phelen; and treasured grandfather of Richard and Daniel Larson.

A veteran of World War II, he proudly served in a long career as a supervisor at the U.S. Postal Service in St. Louis before moving to O'Fallon upon retirement to be closer to his daughter's family. He was an avid reader and a regular volunteer at his local library branch alongside his wife, Eunice, and the two of them also faithfully volunteered and attended services at the Church of the Transfiguration in Lake Saint Louis for many years.

When he wasn't reading a novel or the newspaper, he loved watching old Hollywood classics, long meals at his favorite restaurants, and keeping up with a number of different television shows. His grandsons fondly remember that he always took the scenic route. His laughter and charm will be missed by all who knew him.

Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his wife's name.
