Donald Wayne Suftko was born October 13, 1938. He served in the United States Army, and has been a long-time resident of St. Louis, Missouri area. He was a member of the Bahai Faith for over forty years, and served in the local Spiritual Assembly for more than thirty years. He enjoyed his family, his faith, and traveling. His family wrote: “Don was a loving husband, caring father, devoted grandparent and a charming man. He was intelligent, kind and had a great sense of humor. He was an amazing man, and the most kind-hearted person we knew. He will be missed greatly by his family and everyone who knew him.” He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rosalie (Vitale); his sons JJ Suftko and Donald “Donny” Suftko; daughters-in-law, Dena Suftko and Dana Suftko. Dear grandfather of Jordyn, Mya, Brooke, and Grant Suftko. Dear brother of Joseph (Mary Ann) Suftko and Carolyn (Gus) Marsala. Dear son-in-law of Anna Vitale; dear brother-in-law of Virginia “Jean” and Harold Hisaw, John and Joanie Vitale, Dianne and Pete Ranciglio and Nick and Clare Vitale. Beloved uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
