Donald William Holt, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Patsy R. Holt; cherished son of the late William J. and Annabelle J. Holt. Devoted father of David W. (Barb Hawkins) Holt and Susan A. (Don) Keller; loving grandfather of Melissa R. (Sam Barber) Holt, Nathan Keller, and Shannon Keller; treasured great-grandfather of Aubree Barber; dear brother of Bill (Kathy) Holt, the late Ester (the late Robert) Melde, and the late Sandra (Art) Goewert.
Don was a man of unwavering faith in God as a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. He had a very strong work ethic. He retired from TWA after 37 years, missing very few days of work in all those years. Donald had a selfless devotion to his family. He married Pat in 1959 and they have celebrated 62 years of marriage together. His family has many fond memories of enjoying time at the lake together. He was a loving husband, father, dedicated grandfather and great-grandfather as well as caring Godfather. Donald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
