Donald Lee Yust, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday January 19, 2018 at the age of 86.
Born November 28, 1931 in St. Charles, MO, Don was a lifelong resident here until he moved to Texas in 2014 to be closer to his eldest son. Don married Marilyn E. Wiechens in 1952 in St. Charles and together they enjoyed 65 years of adventure. He served his country honorably as a Corporal in the National Guard for six years. He spent his professional career as a carpenter and proudly contributed his talents to the construction of many commercial buildings in St. Louis County, including the Gateway Arch. At the same time he also built a family, including three sons whose devotion to him is deep and unceasing.
Don is survived by his wife, Marilyn, son Mark and his wife Alice of Houston Texas, son Michael and his wife Fatos of Eskisehir, Turkey, and son Brad and his wife Reggie of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Also surviving him are six grandchildren: Jared Yust, Axcel Yust, Celeste Yust, Jack Yust, Charley Yust Sorrow, Charlie Yust and two great grandchildren: Zehra Sorrow and Michael Sorrow. He is pre-deceased by his parents Edgar and Edna Yust and his brother Gary Yust.
The family will hold a private internment service will be held at later date at the Yust family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Charles Missouri.
