Donald “Donn” H. Schmidt of Ferguson, Missouri, on Thursday November 16, 2017, at the age of 60. Beloved husband of 35 years to Susanne “Sue” Schmidt; cherished son of the late Karl "Dee" Henry and Donna Kluba; devoted father of Joshua (Ashley) Schmidt, Adam (Sarah) Schmidt, Nickolas Schmidt, Keri Schmidt, and the late Ryann K. Schmidt; loving grandfather of Gabriel, Charlie, Isaac, Riley, Ruby, Betsy, Hank, Gus, Mason; dear brother of Deonna (Jim) McAliney and Lisa Campise. Donn was a loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
A dedicated leader, Donn coached little league baseball and girls’ softball for over twenty years. He loved to work in his vegetable garden, and enjoyed gambling, especially playing poker. Donn pursued a rewarding career in management at AT&T until his retirement. He was a member of The Sons of American Legion in St. Clair, Missouri, Post 347. Donn was dearly loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
