Donna Soos

Donna (nee: Rider) Soos, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the age of 72. Loving wife of Robert Soos; dear daughter of Thomas E. and the late Emma L. Rider; devoted mother of Lauri (Dan) McVey, Lisa (Archie) Counts, Linda (Scott) Lemen, Amy (David) Barla, and Debbie (Gerry) Starr; wonderful grandma of Ashley (Adam) Estep, Megan Wissmann, Molly McVey, Clay (Lauren) Counts, Bradley (Alica) Keiser, Anna Lemen, Emily Barla, Abby Barla, Maddy Barla, David Starr, Emma Starr, and Charlie Starr; cherished great-grandma of William Estep, Alivia Keiser, and Ollie Keiser; dear sister of Debra (Ron) Politte.
Donna was previously a Professor at UMSL and Lindenwood before retiring. In her spare time, Donna loved traveling, golf, reading, and having fun with her family and friends. What will be missed most is her sense of humor, laughter, intelligent banter and her ability to put others before herself. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
