Donna M. Thurston

Donna M.Thurston (nee Martin), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Tom Thurston; cherished daughter of Claude Martin and the late Ollie Martin; devoted mother of Barry (Katie) Evans, Paul Evans, Kay (Kevin) Steineker, Beth (Joseph) Thomas, Lori (Robert) Turnbull, and Debbie (Jeff) Voight; loving grandmother of 16; treasured great grandmother of 25; dear sister of the late Joyce (Bob) Sheets, and the late Eugene Martin; aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Donna, a devout member of Bogey Hills Baptist Church, lent her musical talents to the choir and previously showcased her skillful piano playing at Ridgecrest. Revered for her compassion and selflessness, she consistently placed others' needs above her own, embodying steadfast family values by offering unwavering support and attending every event. Her kind-hearted demeanor endeared her to numerous individuals, and her departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
