Doris Bertha “Dot” Schnack

December 22, 1923 — October 31, 2011

Schnack, Doris Bertha "Dot" This service is to the glory of God in loving memory of Doris (Dot) Bertha Schnack, who was born December 22, 1923 in St. Charles, MO to Edwin Bekebrede and Laura Middeke Bekebrede. Dot entered eternal rest on Monday, October 31, 2011. Dot was baptized into Christ on at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles and she also publicly reaffirmed her baptismal vows in the Rite of Confirmation at Immanuel Lutheran Church at a later date. On August 29, 1942 Dot was united in Christian Marriage to Hillard Herman Martin Schnack of Lone Elm, MO. They were blessed with two children. Dot was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Hillard Schnack, her two sisters, Norma Wehmeier and Melba Wortmann and one brother, Vernon Bekebrede. Survivors include one son and one daughter and their spouses, Dennis & Betty Schnack of Rocksprings, TX and Jay and Patsy Guenther of St. Charles, MO, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, a dear niece and spouse, Danny & Nancy Denningmann and her many Lake of the Ozark friends, especially the Dennis Bouselli family, her quilting ladies, birthday club and the good friends who have loved and supported her over the years. We thank the Lord that during her lifetime, He granted the gift of saving faith to His Child, Dot. We now take comfort in His promise to us, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." John 11:25-26. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran General Fund or Immanuel Quilters.
