Jayne, Doris E., 61, passed away at home on, Friday March 20, 2015, in St. Peters, Missouri from cancer. She was born on May 2, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to Doris Elaine Duke and Robert Galloway Humphrey.
Doris received her Nursing Degree from Missouri Baptist College and received her BSN from Webster University. She worked in the Cardiac Unit for more than 30 years. 'Ladybug Down'. Doris Married Dan on September 2, 1978. They met in the 3rd grade when he carried her books home; this began their life together. Doris spent time living in St. Louis, Missouri, Crown Point, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio. She loved to shop, and was also a big Sci-Fi fan, especially Star Trek. 'Go boldly where no man has gone before.'
Doris is preceded in death by her parents Robert Galloway Humphrey and Doris Elaine Duke-Humphrey, aunt Shirley Duke-Agne, cousin Christine Agne, and pets Ziggy, Nerphy, Maxer-Pooh, Boomer, Morgan, Vincent and Miko. She is survived by her husband Dan Jayne, uncle Richard Duke, sister Carolynn Louise Fitzgerald, niece Kelly Lauren Fitzgerald, great-nephews, Gabriel and Vincent, and pets Boomer and Mia. Doris was also a loving aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
