Doris Eloise Holmes

Doris Eloise Holmes (nee Prestridge), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Jimmie Holmes; cherished daughter of the late Leslie and Letha Prestridge; devoted mother of Steve (Debbie) Akers, Larry (Kay) Holmes and Linda (Mike) Price; loving grandmother of Andrew (Sarah) Akers, Lauren Akers, Rachel & Sara Holmes, Erika (Chad) Burnhum, Jamie (Tim) Ehrhart and Jessica Buchek; treasured great-grandmother of eleven; dear sister of Charles Prestridge.

Doris enjoyed solving puzzle books and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her morning coffee with her brother everyday while they lived in Arkansas. Doris was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Doris’ name to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
