Doris M. Strickland

Doris M. Strickland (nee: Mansker) of O Fallon, MO, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of 46 years to the late Albert F. Strickland; cherished daughter of the late Hugh W. Mansker and Lucy I. Walter; devoted mother of Brenda Talley, Dorothy "Dottie"(Dean) Basinger, and adopted mother of Cindy (Roger) Powers and the late Frank Strickland; loving grandmother of eleven; dear great-grandmother of twenty four; treasured great-great grandmother of four; cherished sister of James (Donna) E. Mansker, Terry T. Walters, Starlett Ware, Bobbie A. McNeal, and the late Fred Walters; dear mother-in-law of Carol Strickland and the late Bill Talley.
Doris worked at Drug Package for 44 years. She enjoyed painting ceramics. She also loved to write stories and poems. She most of all loved her family. Doris will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
