Doris Mae Greer

Doris Greer, (nee Frantz), age 83, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 9, 2021, Born on March 16, 1938, in Topeka, Kansas to the late Joseph and Flossie Frantz. Beloved wife of Roy Greer; devoted mother of Diane (John), Joseph (Karen) and Tammy; loving grandmother of Jason (Becky), Sarah (Robert), Cole, and Jared; treasured great-grandmother of Klarissa, Johnathan, Alexandria, Christopher, Tobias, and Hailey; several nieces and nephews whom she thought the world of. Doris is preceded by her brothers, Joseph and Harry; sister-in-law’s, Jane, Barbara, Rita Sue, and Rose Marie; brothers-in-law’s, David, and Audie, all whom she thought of as her own siblings. She also leaves behind her Uncle Ted and his wife Grace. Doris loved and cherished her family.

Doris married Roy Greer on January 13, 1968. She worked for Moog Automotive for 35 years and took early retirement in 1994. Doris enjoyed working with many great friends. She also went to work at Farmers Insurance with her husband, Roy as his Office Manager. They worked together for 20 years, and both retired to enjoy their life together.
